Checked out this spot as it was one of the only places in New Flushing Mall that took Apple pay. Though the drink was expensive, it was actually pretty good. I chose to get the feature drink because the pics of it sold me and it looked pretty tasty. I don't know if I'd pay $8 again for it, but it was pretty good, and that cup was HUGE. I couldn't finish it so I had my boyfriend finish it for me.

I love their Fresh Lemon Green Tea. It is my go to drink especially during the summer season when I crave a cool refreshing lemon taste. I tried finding alternatives at other chains, but this place has always made the best. To my knowledge this is the only location they have in NYC. I hope nothing ever happens to it... lol

Taiwanese boba tea chain that has been the innovator of trends such as the rock salt cheese foam since 2006 and the layering of temperature and texture with a parfait of frozen lemon slush, tea, and toppings, surprisingly my go-to drink is their classic milk tea since it is perfectly balanced between tea, sweetness, and richness at 30% sweetness level. Unsurprisingly specializing in fresh lemon based beverages, be prepared for tart notes and lemon zest highlighting through freshly brewed teas, but always exciting to check out seasonal specialties where they have themed series with new flavor combinations and variations on classic beverages. Despite being located in the old Flushing food court where most of the vendors accept cash only, fortunately they accept credit cards payment.

Most of the time whenever I'm at New York Food Court (#1), I'm at Happy Lemon ordering up any / all their drinks. I am often less enthusiastic with the food (#2) but I have learned that I enjoy their drinks too much to go out of my way to get something. In my opinion, a distinct advantage to the food court over others is the fact they're sporting a Happy Lemon. Yes, it's that good. I would normally just say order whatever on the menu, but some of the more outstanding drinks for me include: * ANY of the drinks in the Fresh Lemon Series (black, green, honey green) are perfect. * Light oolong salted cheese and especially the strawberry jasmine tea with salted cheese. * Kiwi matcha latte * Of the slushies, the kumquat lemon and peppermint lemon are worth it. Some other things to know: * They don't take credit cards. It's all cash baby. * I don't know what it is, but I find the staff speaks better English here. * They provide tokens for people ordering. Try: Strawberry Jasmin Tea with Salted Cheese. Why: Refreshing! They used real strawberries and blended it in jasmine tea and topped it with salted cheese foam. The salted cheese actually complements the tea, it's not too salty but slightly sweet, and it adds a thicker texture when you drink it. Notes: Service could be better. There were only two people in front of me when I arrived at 1pm on a Sunday but both workers seemed rushed and did not smile at all.
